• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I ordered a Zumo 660(the one from BRP) off of ebay and the seller has come back to me and said he has checked all over and cannot get one until sometime in November. Are these that hard to get a hold of or do I get a refund and look elsewhere? What do you guys and gals think?

Lamont, Pardon my ignorance but don't I need to have the special plug on the harness to attach back behind the saddlebag so you can hear the GPS over the RT's speakers?

whats new with the 665 besides price and XM Radio? Plus looking at the 665 amazon low reviews it sounds like the XM part is buggy.

also yes if you have the CB/Comm system to tie it into the Spyder to hear thru speakers AND have it auto cut in over radio or audio input. you need the entertainment wiring harness to plug into in addition to the GPS adapter plug.

if you dont plan on listening to the radio or a second audio in source (ie mp3 player) then you can assuming you have the RTS or the audio input jack in trunk ... run a cable back to the input there.

GPS will not play over the RT speakers, even with all of thier wires/kits/comms set-up.

Just an oversight on BRP's part, in my opinion

huh? there are others that posted that they have got it to work... on the other thread. just need the entetainment harness, CB installed and of course FM Radio.

then buy harness plug for under passenger seat area and it has a mini audio male jack. extend that to the headphone audio out jack on the Garmin mount I think is where it is. and it works.

maybe they are hearing in their headsets and not on the speakers...

Mine plays through the speakers fine but it won't play through the BRP headset. It will play through my earbuds. Go figure :dontknow:

Do you guys know the part# for the wiring harness I can't seem to find it again?
The BRP number is: #710002182
I'm waiting for mine as we speak. :2thumbs:

btw, I got my Zümo 660 from GPSciti.com within a week.
