Youtube secret

Is there a secret to posting a YouTube link and have the clip
posted and not just the link.
sometimes I get the clip, but mostly all I post is the link :banghead::banghead::banghead::yikes::yikes:

On the Youtube page copy the actual URL, the web address link from your browser. Paste it into the "insert video" dialog box in SL

I've never had any luck using the "Share" utilities in YouTube.

I just "right click" on the video while it's playing, and select "Copy Video URL".
When I get to an SL dialog box; I right click in it, and hit "Paste"...
It works out okay about 95% of the time! :thumbup:

Maybe it has to do with how you have the video opened up. In this post by Cavman, http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?87551-One-Life-One-Flag-One-Mile, he has only a link. When I opened the video and right clicked on it and selected copy URL and pasted it, this is the result.

However, when I opened up the video in a regular YouTube page, the one with all the comments and links to similar videos, and copied the URL from the address box and pasted it, this is the result. So maybe the secret is to open the video in a regular YT page and copy the URL from the address box. At least it worked that way for this one test.

the DI's i encounter were like him. they would scream in your face and drench you in spit.

I met Lee Ermey about five years ago at an NRA convention. (in Charlotte)
He was at the Glock booth. I got to talk with him for about two minutes about nothing important....
But his handshake was about like a bear trap! :yikes:
