Well here in Vermont, any showers or mountain flurries will give way to clearing skies tonight. Most spots will fall into the 20's for lows, but remain in the low 30's in the other areas of Vermont. Sunday will be partly sunny through midday, then we will have showers will move in during the afternoon as a cold front sinks into the region. The showers will mix with snow during the evening. It will be breezy with highs in the upper 40's to low 50's. Sunday evening, a trace to an inch or so accumulation is possible, especially in the mountains. The commute may be a little slippery in spots, but nothing significant. Skies will clear out after midnight, with lows in the 20's, and maybe a few teens. :gaah::yikes:
Monday will have plenty of sunshine, but will be chilly with highs only in the low to mid 40's. However a significant warm up is underway for the end of the Oct.. Tuesday will be partly sunny and warmer, with highs in the mid 50's. A warm front will bring showers overnight. This will leave us with a much warmer Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 60's,and maybe a few spots hitting 70 degrees.
It looks like the warmest day will be Halloween, with highs in the upper 60's to low 70's. This will be very pleasant for the Trick-or Treaters. Unfortunately, a cold front is expected to bring showers just in time for the evening, especially in the northern sections of Vermont. Hopefully it holds off until later in the night. At any rate, this will be followed by a dry and cooler Friday. Saturday looks pretty good, mostly sunny skies but crisp highs in the 40's.
The current temp is 45 degrees, mostly cloudy.
