:coffee: Welcome to the New month of November 2024. Ten months down and two months to go. (November and December)

So remember that this is a 'family rated' thread.
You are encouraged to read and enjoy some wonderful sunshine and blue sky.
Of course, there are those days that you just need to carefully look at and then move on down the road. Life is what you make it. Slow down and enjoy.

I hope you have a Sunny Day. ...

Friday 11/01

:spyder:....Well yesterday's rain was just what we needed here in my local area of the World. Indiana has been hit with a drought these past few months. We have made it through but are still short on rain.

Most of my trees are mostly clear on their leaves. So the chore of clearing the yard of the leaves should be about done. I sure hope so.

Currently cloudy sky and 43°F. No Ryde time yesterday and nothing today.

Today's high will be only 55°F with some sun.
Low at 34°F. No rain here for us.

I hope you have a 'Blessed Day'. ...

November is starting out with near perfect winter weather here in the desert. Today's high will be 81. There is a slight breeze (3-5 MPH), and there are a few high puffy clouds. The overnight low will be 54 degrees. We are in our transitioning period when we don't need AC or to fire up the furnace. Mother Nature is keeping the house very comfortable. Although, I did need to put a blanket on the bed last night for the first time this winter. Stay safe..... Jim

Currently we have cloudy sky and 35°F.
No time to Ryde here today. Maybe get a chance tomorrow.

Today's high is 61°F with some sunshine.
Low at 39°F. No rain Today.

Sunday's high at 69°F with some clouds.
Low of 60°F. Still no rain.

Enjoy your Ryde Times and Stay Healthy.
Till Next Time. ....

:coffee:....Well the weekend was awesome. I hope you had a good time and enjoyed some Spyder Ryde Times. Currently cloudy sky and 64°F.
Calling for some rain showers today. It's sprinkling as I post up my news.

High today of 73°F with clouds.
Low at 63°F. Showers throughout the day.

Stay Healthy. ....

In our area it has been cooler and currently rain, rain, and rain. 63 degrees currently. We had thunderstorms that lasted all night long with deluges of rain. Most of the time they come and go within a half hour. Not this go around.

We pretty much skipped the fall season, went directly from summer to winter weather here in the desert. Yesterday we had a few off and on rain showers. Nothing dramatic, just enough to make for a damp day. Currently it's 60 degrees and sunny. No clouds in sight. Humidity is at 36% and there is a 5 MPH breeze. The high will be 68 and the overnight low will be a crisp 48 degrees. Finally had to change the monster that lives in my utility room over from summer to winter mode. It now breaths fire (instead of ice). The change over is done easily with a flip of a switch. And there is no need to change its diet. Regardless of the season, it feeds on money...... Sometimes hundred dollar bills! Stay safe..... Jim

Update: we now have tornado watch in our area until 9:00 PM. There is a current tornado warning going on two counties to our west. Seems a bit late for this type of weather. :dontknow:

Here in Vermont, it is currently raining. We will be getting another warm-up this week. A warm front will be coming through overnight with a few rain showers and breezy conditions. The showers will be winding down in the morning on Tuesday, and the rest of the day will feature sunshine, warm temps, and breezy conditions out of the South.

It will stay breezy and mild Tuesday night into Wednesday. A cold front will come through late in the day with showers.

We will clear out again for the end of the week and temps will come down a bit.

Another cold front will come through late Friday with a chance for a few showers.

Right now, the weekend is looking pretty good with lots of sunshine on Saturday, but there will be a chance for showers by late Sunday.

Monday (Veterans Day) is looking cloudier with a pretty good chance for rain showers.

The current temp is 41 degrees and raining.

Everyone, stay safe!

Woke up to a cloud cover this morning here in the desert. But there is an ever expanding blue sky moving in from the north. The wind is blowing at 13-15 MPH and is expected to increase to 20+ this afternoon. Currently it's 61 degrees. The high today will only get to 65. It'll be a 3-dog night with a low of a chilly 43. Stay safe..... Jim

Mid 60's, blue skies and sunshine. We just came off three days of mostly rain. All the drying up farm ponds are now filled to overflowing.

:chat:...Welcome to my local area weather news from Indiana. The weather has been crazy for the past couple of days. That's just the way it works in good ole Indiana. I have learned to roll with the flow and be patient. Currently clear sky and 45°F.

High today of 57°F with some sunshine.
Low at 37°F. No rain today.

Looks like we are all done with this year's harvest in Indiana. It was a good yield and better than expected.
Hopefully the grain prices will be good for everyone.

Stay Healthy and Ryde your Spyder. ....

Friday 11/08/24

Going to be another great day for ryding. Currently cloudy sky and 37°F. I will have to wait until the temperature gets above 57°F. Probably around 1pm.

High today of 62°F with some sun.
Low at 40°F. No rain today.

Ryde when you get a chance and have a Blessed Day. ....

Till next Time.

We're experiencing a bit of a warming trend here in the desert. Currently it's 60 degrees and headed for a high of 68 today. By Monday we'll be back to 80. The skies are blue with no clouds. Breeze is modest at about 4 MPH. It's a perfect day to enjoy the weekly car show that I participate in. Sunshine reflecting off chrome and shiny paint is a beautiful thing regardless of vehicle type. Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 11/11/2024

:coffee:....I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was great. Currently I have overcast sky at 43°F.

High today of 59°F with sunshine.
Low at 33°F.
No Ryde time for me.

Have a Happy Day and Stay Healthy. ....

Today the temps were in the 50's. It was partly sunny in the morning.

We will be getting a sharp cold front that will come through overnight, bringing rain showers and some higher elevation snow showers as the temps drop quickly. Some of the roads, generally over 1,000 feet, could be a bit slick by Tuesday morning. Also, the bridges and overpasses in lower elevations could have some slick spots.

After some lingering rain/showers on Tuesday morning, skies will clear out in the afternoon, but it will still be chilly. Winds will be blustery out of the North-Northwest.

As the winds die down on Tuesday night, it will be a cold night under clear skies. Then Wednesday will feature lots of sunshine, but it will still be a bit cool for this time of the year. And it will be the coldest night of the season yet so far, Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Friday will start with sunshine, but a storm system in the Atlantic will backtrack this way with rain and snow showers Friday night and on into Saturday.

This weekend will be OK on Sunday, but another frontal system will move in for Monday bringing more rain showers.

The current temp is 51°F.
