Your Weather News @ JUNE Edition 2025

Goodness, yesterday's temperature was just a wee bit to warm for this ole man. 86°F is going a bit over the limit. 82°F is a better zone for me.

Currently we are getting some rain showers and have 69°F. It's going to be a full day of the wet stuff. I'm thankful that I got all the grass cut.
Makes me tired just thinking about what this rain will do for my yard.

High today of 78°F. A very good thing. 👍
Low at 62°F with lots of rain showers here.
Indoor projects are available.
Please sign up for the better choices....ha..ha.

Definitely no Spyder Ryde Time Today. The rain is going to mess up Father's Day here in Indiana. How could you possibly forget something like Father's Day. Remember it is this Sunday June 15th.

Till Next Time. (y)

It's too hot to do any outside activities here in the desert... Except float around in the swimming pool. Our community pool is closed for the next 2 weeks having the deck resurfaced. This needs to be done about every 3 years because of all the abuse it encounters. Fortunately, there is another private community 1/2 mile from ours that allows us access to their pool. Our two communities trade off pool usage back and forth when the individual pools are closed for repair. By the time I get out of our community, go to theirs, and get to their pool, it's about a mile and a half golf cart ride. There is one traffic light that can be a long wait but otherwise it's a quick trip. Stay safe... Jim

We have another wet weekend coming to Indiana. And this Sunday is looking wet for Father's Day Cooking.
Currently overcast sky at 70°F.

Today we are scheduled for some real rain time. One to two inches of rain by tonight. Get out the boat, Mable. That's what my wife likes to say. I will just be patient and see how all this works out.

High of 73°F with some rain showers.
Low at 61°F and rain.

Sunday is looking about the same.
High at 80°F with some showers.
Low of 63°F. That sounds good.

Enjoy your Father's Day Cooking and have some fun. Everything is good for now. Stay Healthy and Be Happy.

'Til Next Time my Friend. (y)

Really tried to enjoy my 'FATHER'S DAY', but just too much rain. So no cookout for me. Oh well, there's always next year.

Nuff said about the rain 🌧 and showers. Currently very humid and very wet here. Cloudy sky and 65°F.

Today's numbers are 81°F and 68°F.
Mostly cloudy day and only 20% chance of Rain tonight.
I have several projects going so I might try and get one or two done.

I hope you had a good Father's Day.
Remember to do what makes you happy. 'Til Next Time my Friend. (y)

Not Father's Day here in South Oz, but the weather sounds much the same. I've been stuck inside on stoppage of everything looking out on a miserable Monday, with drizzling &/or low dank cloud cover all day, couldn't even see where the sun was, with minimum temp of 5°C and a maximum temp that unwillingly dragged itself up to juuust a tiny tad over 10°C...:cautious:

I don't think I really missed much out there! 😏

Too hot to do anything here in the desert. Just go from one air-conditioned environment to another. Excessive heat warning extended for the next week. Today was 115 with 9% humidity. Not much change in the foreseeable future. Stay safe... Jim

Yeah, I made it through another day.
All the rain has been a challenge for Indiana. I am okay, but several of my friends are in low areas and they are saying 'No More Rain Please'.
When in flooding issues be sure that you are doing the safe thing.

Currently cloudy sky and a lite shower.
69°F with 96% humidity and a 20% chance of Rain this morning.

Today's sunshine is about 50%.
High today of 83°F and cloudy.
Low at 70°F. 15% chance of Rain tonight. Praying for the rain to stop
and for Safety and Flooding problems.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.
Watch out for the 'crazy driver's'.
Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends. (y)

Well yesterday's little rain showers were doable for me. But now areas are dealing with Flooding issues. Nothing fun about way to much rain.

Currently cloudy sky at 71°F. More rain is scheduled for today. This year's rain patterns are just trouble for us.

High today of 83°F with rain.
Low at 70°F and some more rain.
My yard is extremely wet and lots of standing water. I really don't remember this much rain for the month of June in Indiana.

Have a Blessed and Healthy Day.

Currently in the Arid-Zone-A desert: 104 degrees, humidity at 10%, 3 MPH breeze, and no clouds in sight. The high will be 110 and overnight low will be 80 degrees. I just got back from a quick golf cart run to our Administration building. It's about a mile away. The temperature felt quite comfortable to me. Even when I was riding 2 and 3 wheelers, I was okay up to about 105 after getting seasonally acclimated. But there is a huge difference in comfort from 105 to 110. And above that, every degree seems to compound the heat. Stay safe..... Jim

The weather here in Vermont is going to be feeling like summer!

The humidity is already starting to make it feel pretty sticky this morning. and we are seeing temps rising through the morning reaching the mid to upper 80's by this afternoon. With the heat and humidity combined, it's likely to feel like temps are closer to the 90 degree mark.

There will be a few showers rolling through the Southern part of Vermont this morning, and those will clear up as we head into the afternoon. It looks like everyone should see some sunshine early this afternoon, but then a few thunderstorms will pop up after 2PM (EST).
Most of today's storms will be across the Northern part of New York and into Northern Vermont, and we aren't expecting anything severe. The better chance for some severe weather comes in tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon.

Tomorrow, they have issued a First Weather Alert day due to heat, humidity, and the potential for strong to severe storms. The first part of the day will be dry with some sunshine and those high temps will be reaching the upper 80's and feeling like mid to upper 90's.

A cold front will be moving through the region tomorrow (Thursday) which will knock down the heat and humidity for Friday, but will also bring strong to severe weather from 2PM to 7pm (EST) with some showers lingering after that. Friday, the weather will be much cooler, temps in the 70's, and much lower humidity.

Then on Sunday, it's going to be heating up again! Highs will be back into the upper 80's, with heat index values in the 90's. Then as we head into Monday and Tuesday, the actual highs will in the low 90's, and with the humidity, it is going to feel much hotter.

The current temp is 85 degrees and cloudy.

Thursday morning is finally here. Yesterday's storm was a big problem for Indiana. We had some high winds
that caused tree branches to break.
Several miles away neighbors had power lines come down. So no electricity for them.

Currently cloudy sky at 68°F.
High today of 80°F with clouds.
Low at 64°F and cloudy.

Have yourself a good day.
Till Next Time. (y)

Yesterday's forecast high of 110 for the desert turned out to be 116 actually. I've long ago learned that weather forecasters mostly spread untruths. Usually, they come pretty close but seldom nail it. Our excessive heat warnings continue today. Forecast high, 108. Forecast low, 79. At 11:30 AM it was 102, humidity at 9%, 8 MPH breeze, and nothing but blue sky. The high pressure that has dominated our region for the last week will move on east and take some of this heat with it. By Sunday we will see high temperatures right about 100. Still no rain or monsoon action in the extended forecast. Stay safe..... Jim

Well, today it's going to be a sunny day with 86°F for the high.
Low at 66°F.

Currently mostly sunny sky and lots of humidity.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.
We still have some water flooding issues here in Indiana. Have a Safe Day and Stay Healthy. Till Next Time my Friend. (y)

Here in Wisconsin, we're facing our first Heatwave of the early summer. Actually the entire midwest will be in the 90's to hundreds. That's not hot for many, but for us Badgers, we be lookin for shade!

Here in my part of South Oz, the BoM is trying to fool us into thinking that we aren't really cold yet, but I'm not buyin' it!!

I've gone for a little 'remedial perambulation' outside already, just before the sun fought its way up & over the horizon, and I broke the 50mm thick ice in the bird pond so that the local mob of HoneyEaters & tiny Blue Wrens didn't hafta wait 'til midday for a drink, crunching thru thick frost at every step along the way. My breathe wasn't 'blowing' out as mist so much as every exhale instantly turned to ice crystals and promptly fell to the ground!! I'm not sure I didn't hear the occasional 'thud'?!

The sun is now up and rapidly warming things, but BoM is still insisting that it's only 5°C here (feels like 1°C), only if I spill out a little of my hot coffee, it's cold enough that it sees freezes before it hits the ground, so I think we're actually experiencing a little below Zero °C temps. Admittedly, we're up another maybe a hundred metres above the local Mt Barker Township BoM weather station, but the one up on 'the Mountain' that gives 'Mount Barker' it's name is a couple of hundred metres higher again, so you'd think it'd show a more realistic temp?! Maybe it's been in the sun longer than us and has warmed up a bit more??

Anyhoo, while it's cold out now, and clearly closer to 0°C than what BoM is trying to con us it might be, the day looks like it's gonna be one of those fantastic bright early winter days - crisp, clear, blue skies, no clouds, little real wind, bright sunshine, and it's a Saturday! All the local footy teams are away/playing in/nearer the city, so the madding footy crowds will be heading that way rather than pouring in here and blocking up all the lical roads, and it'll be a FANbloodyTASTIC day for riding... only I'm on stoppage 'til the medics let me off the leash. 😖. Oh well, I guess I won't 'ride', but I really do think that I hafta test out the new shocks again... just around the block maybe - the big block, the one going out past Mount Torrens & thru the Barrossa Valley. It'd be such a waste of a day if I didn't. See ya in a few hours. 😉

Oh Man Peter, that sounds like bone chilling weather. Well folks, here in Indiana Summer has finally arrived.
Currently sunshine and clear sky at 68°F.
I am going on vacation today. Going to visit with some friends in the fair State of Tennessee. They have wanted the wife and me to endure the travel and come on down. So just to change things up, I will post up some Tennessee weather news.

So here is the First of Near Allons, TN
weather.
Today it is going to be a little warmer here, in the lower 90s. I am being told that this is normal for Summer.
High of 91°F with sunshine.
Low of 74°F and some humidity.

Sunday's high is 92°F with 🌞.
Low at 73°F and sunny.

Everything is going well for me.
Enjoy your Weekend and be Healthy.
Till Next Time my Friend. (y)

I'm going to change things up a bit too. Next week I will be leaving the desert for 6-8 weeks. Going on a road trip in my little Mustang convertible. Summer road trips have been in my history for many years. Two wheels, then three, and now four. Age and physical limitations causing the change in vehicles. But my mind still craves the adventure of the road like a teenager! This year will be my longest road trip. I'll report in periodically.

Meanwhile, the desert has cooled somewhat as the heat dome moves eastward. Don't say I didn't warn you! We'll get to about 105 today and it is pretty windy, 14 MPH with gusts to 24. Winds in the mountains and high desert to the north are much higher. Very dangerous conditions for wildfires. One little spark can create a disaster. There are no clouds and everything is tinder-dry. To those experiencing the heat wave, remember to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Stay safe..... Jim

The weather here in Wisconsin is 🥵, it's 92° with a heat index of 104°. l was going to ride but decided to clean, shine my beast, get some other stuff done. The weather is supposed to be the same tomorrow, but I'm riding anyway; as long as I keep moving it'll be cool right... lol🤪👍
