Welcome to the Year of 2026. So another year is here for us to
enjoy. I have been told to always use my 'life time' wisely by my Parents.
So now I am sharing this with you. Go in Peace, Love, and Joy.

Currently overcast sky and 24°F here in Indiana. The city salted all the roads
due to the wet stuff that has been coming down. But do be careful about your
drive. Icy roads are not very friendly. Just saying this for Safety...

High today of 28°F with some snow showers.
Low at 18°F. This cold spell is here for a few more days.
Remember this is the season of Winter in Indiana.

Everything is going good for me.
Till Next Time My Friend. (y)

I still have power at the house.

It got down to 30°F here tonight, but we only salted the beaches and the salt flats, since it will be in the mid-sixties with sunshine by about 10 hours into the New Year.

-8c here today and it's not snowing . :giggle:
Ma Nature is finally giving us a break.
Since the freezing rain on Boxing Day, we have had 40 to 50cm (15"to 20") of snow.
If you see a snowbank moving, watch out it might be a "Polar Bear" ;):D
Happy New Year

Cloudy with off and on light rain showers today here in the desert. High will be 63 degrees and the overnight low will be 53. Humidity is 87%. The wind is calm. I'm a little upset today. I'd planned to spend a quiet day watching college bowl games. Discovered they are all on pay to view TV. I do not have pay TV. College football has sunk to low levels and sold out to the highest bidder. Stay safe..... Jim

YES, they have sold out to cable TV.
I am disappointed that I couldn't watch
the Rose Bowl 'Starring Indiana University'.

So Sad that Sports is just all about the Money.
IU won 38 - 3 by the way.

Currently clear sky at 18°F. I see a beautiful
almost full moon. This Saturday night is the
Real Deal.
Today's numbers are not looking very good.
High today of 28°F with some clouds.
Low at 21°F.

Have yourself a great Day 👍

Wasn't too bad here Jan 1. Had temps around mid 50's and thought about getting a ride in. No one in my little circle wanted to ride so I took the car over to a local cruise in and grabbed a burger. Today it is going to be lower 60's and I might do a little ride to run some errands.

Right now (3:15pm local) in Deep South Texas, temp is 87*F, no clouds, winds SSW @ 9mph. No precipitation in our 10-day forecast. Just got started a few minutes ago setting our pre-plant cultivator, putting out N32 fertilizer. We should be planting corn and/or milo in about 4 to 5 weeks. Got a 39-mile ride in on the 31st, and a 59-mile ride in on the 1st. Still waiting on our +/- 2 days of winter down here … 😃

Mostly sunny/partly cloudy here in the desert today. 70°/59°, 2 MPH breeze, humidity at 59%, and no rain forecast. My frustration with college football yesterday was rewarded with persistence. I found a couple of bowl games were being aired live on YouTube. Not the same quality as normal broadcast TV. It looked to me like they were using a drone with odd angles of view. And the announcers sounded like they were pre-puberty. But still watchable and IU looked awesome. Professional college sports has evolved into something less enjoyable, at least for me. Stay safe..... Jim

I was able to see some of the hi-lites of IU Rose Bowl game yesterday.
If I wanted to pay for Sports TV, I could have watched it 'Repay'.
Not in the budget for me.

Saturday morning and the full moon is shining very bright. Officially starts
around 8pm tonight in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky and 23°F. We have just
a lite skiff of snow on the ground.

Today it's scheduled to be mostly cloudy all day here.
High of 30°F and maybe a little snow shower this morning.
Low at 21°F and the Full Moon tonight.

Hopefully everyone has a warm place and are staying Healthy.
I am doing well and my electricity is working.

Sunday's high of 34°F with some sunshine.
Low at 28°F. No Snow in my local area weather.
Prayers for everyone. May Peace and God's Grace
be with you.

Thanks for Looking and Enjoy Your Time. (y)

Monday morning and I see the Moon is still shining in the Western sky. Currently we have mostly clear sky at 31°F. I have a dead tree that came down over the weekend. Not sure if I want to tackle this project. 🤔

High today of 48°F with clouds.
Low at 39°F. No rain here today.

Have a Great Day 👍

Well, here in Vermont we had some cold weather this past weekend.

It was a cold start to the morning, with most places beginning in the single digits on either side of zero. The temp will stay cool through the day, with highs only reaching the teens and lower 20's this afternoon.

Clouds will increase late this morning, ahead of snow arriving from the West heading East this afternoon. By the evening commute, light snow will be widespread across much of the area, potentially making for slick travel.

The snow will wind down fairly quickly after sunset and into the early overnight hours. Most locations will see a widespread coating of 2 inches of new snow, with locally higher amounts of 3-5 inches possible in the Central and Southern spine of the Green Mountains and the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. Temps will be slightly warmer overnight, with lows in the teens for most areas.

Tuesday will start out dry and mostly cloudy. Warmer air will begin to move in during the afternoon, with highs approaching the freezing mark in some spots. Another round of widespread precipitation will move in Tuesday evening. It will likely begin as snow, with some mixing possible, especially in the broader valleys. This wintry mix will continue into Wednesday, bringing another round of accumulating snow and the potential for slick travel, before it making its departure leading into Wednesday evening and Wednesday night.

Mild air remains in place through Thursday, which looks like our best chance for sunshine this week. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30's. The January thaw continues into Friday and Saturday, but it comes with rain showers. Some areas could reach the lower 40's by the end of the week. Temps cool back down next Sunday, meaning any lingering showers could fall as snow.

Currently in the desert: 62°F, partly sunny with a high-thin cloud, 3 MPH breeze, humidity at 60%. The high today will be 70°F and the overnight low will be 49°F. Looks like we'll get some cool, wet weather for Wednesday and Thursday. Time will tell. Stay safe..... Jim

That Arizona warm 60°F will make your Snow melt. So no Sledding in Vermont. Just saying about that.

Currently cloudy sky at 34°F with some rain showers coming today. Just have a lite dusting of snow on the ground.
Decided to call the Tree Service about the tree down in my yard. I couldn't believe the price. I will just be patient for a while.

Today's high will be 51°F with clouds.
Low of 37°F and some rain showers.
I hope you can enjoy your Day.

Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends. (y)

Well the warm up to 51°F was good. Spent a few
hours outside doing some yard work. A person is
always going to have this chore if they have a yard.
I believe most of you know what I mean.

Currently overcast sky at 40°F. A chance of getting
some rain showers today. Going to be a little cooler
today. I am hearing that the flu bug is going well here
in Indiana. I am trying to stay ahead of this seasons
illness. Time will tell on this issue.

High today of 46°F with some clouds.
Low at 36°F. A little bit of sunshine too.
They say that Spring is coming.
Hurry up Spring!

Have Yourself a Blessed Day.

Well, we had the 51° here today too, °C that is!!

The BoM said the official temp here was only 44°C, but I reckon that's only ever 'real' in their dinky Stevenson Screen boxes tucked away on the manicured and watered lawns in solid shade under 100 year old deciduous trees planted in the water cooled breezes near the Torrens River in the City amongst the acres of Parkland there; while my thermometer/Weather station shows a far more realistic reading, cos it's out in the real weather, on the little bit of patchy lawn that survives the toxic eucalyptus fall-out in the dappled shade of native trees in the back yard of our house in the outskirts of suburbia, where people actually live, and it hit 50° C shortly after 10:00 this morning, peaked just a smidge over 51°C shortly after Midday, and then didn't drop back below 50°C until about 16:00 this arvo!! Whatever way you look at it tho, it was a bloody hot day here in South Oz!! 😓

I didn't spend more than 10 minutes at a time out in the yard, and even so, only did that a couple of times today when I really couldn't avoid it; but then this evening, I did add a few more 'melted asphalt' tire tracks to the bitumen at the end of the drive when I peeled out heading over to my Son's place to water his veggie garden at about 21:30 - yes, the asphalt was still tacky then, almost an hour after sunset!! (No point watering earlier, it would've just boiled the veggies in the ground!) Today wasn't the first day that's been this hot this week either, and we've been told to expect a few more days like it before the next cool change comes thru, maybe next week, so any riding I might get to do atm will hafta start pre-dawn and be short enough that I can get home by about 10:00... I must be getting soft in my old age, or maybe I'm not quite as crazy as I useta be?! 🤪

It's about 23:25 here right now, the temp is still 39°C, and even tho we're better off up here in the Hills rather than down amongst the concrete jungle on the plains, it's still un-characteristically humid for this time of year, so every time I go outside it feels like the instant sweat that hits just won't evaporate and I'm breathing soup!! So it's probly gonna be an uncomfortable & sticky night, even with the AC on!! But at least I am still breathing, that's gotta count for something! :p

So enjoy the cool while you can, it might get hot sooner than you'd really like, and maybe hotter than you really want it to get, too! ;)

Amen to that! Currently in the Arid-Zone-A desert it's 55 degrees, 8 MPH wind, cloudy, humidity at 75%. The high today will be a cool 59 and the overnight low will be 50 degrees. Rain showers are expected to start this afternoon and continue throughout the day tomorrow. Tomorrow will continue to be cool EXCEPT....... the overnight low will get down to 38 degrees! Burrrrrrrr!!!!! Friday is expected to be sunny and dry but still on the cool side. Stay safe..... Jim
