Brother is fine his house sit's high as his property slopes.

When I went through Vermont on rt 9 back in July I saw high rivers and ponds/lakes but no real damage, apparently all the flooding was up north

I am glad that your brother is fine,and that his house was not affected by the water.

The whole state of Vermont was hit by the flooding.

The above links shows that southern part of Vermont and the capital ( Montpelier) were flooded. When you get a chance do You tub search for "Vermont Flooding in July of 2023. There are still FEMA personal still in the state helping people. The state employees are working remotely( because the state buildings are closed, and they are still getting cleaned out, and work is being done in them. The capital is like a ghost town. There are several stores in the capital that will be closing permanently.

Friday 8/11/23

...Well folks the Truck Loads of rain finally arrived yesterday. I received over one inch of rain. There were cracks in the yard and now they are filled with water. This has been a very challenging weather for growing tomatoes too.
Currently it is overcast and 66°F.

Today's numbers are 84°F with sunshine.
Low of 67°F. Maybe get some rain tonight.

Still sending Prayers for all who are still dealing with Flooding issues and heat. ...ray:...ray:

Weekend Weather

...Welcome to the WEEKEND, currently we have overcast sky and 72°F. Temperatures are starting to climb a little more and the humidity is terrible (95 - 100). That's what happens when you get rain in Indiana.

The Indiana Farmers are loving this weather for growing corn and beans. This is the final push for the crops. If we continue to get the rain as we need it, we will have a good yield for the year.
Praying for the rain. ....ray:...ray:

Oh Yeah, Today we will have 81°F for the high.
Low at 61°F. Maybe get some rain this afternoon.

Sunday 84°F and sunny. Low of 63°F.

Currently 97 and heading for a high of 105 here in the desert S.W. The overnight low will be 79. A few high thin clouds floating around, otherwise, bright and sunny with a 5 MPH breeze. We haven't seen any rain since last week when we had a couple quick moving thunderstorms move through. Not a lot of precipitation though. They only lasted about a half hour each. Stay safe..... :chat:...Well folks the last 2 days have been filled with rain. That's what happens when you ask and then it happens. I measured 1.2" of Rain. The humidity is on the rise.

Today we have overcast sky and currently 69°F
Numbers for today are 79°F and 59°F.

The last three days it has been 80+ and on the humid/sticky feeling side, due to high humidity.

We have been getting thunderboomers and lots of rain in the evenings. Thankfully, no severe winds or tornado warnings. The upside...I have a very beautiful green lawn that needs a mowing.

Well today is going to be a lot of sunshine and a little cooler day than yesterday. Currently we have 68°F with some clouds. This is the type of day I really enjoy.

High today of 71°F and low of 54°F.

Wednesday 8/16/23

A little cloudy this morning and 56°F. Received a little rain shower yesterday afternoon. Just enough to make the ground wet and raise the humidity some. This is August and that's the way it goes.

Today's high at 78°F with mostly sunny.
Low of 56°F. Good sleeping weather.

....Yesterday was a beautiful sunshine day. I was able to get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Time. Currently we have overcast sky and 61°F. I hope you are doing well.

Numbers for today are 76°F and 54°F.
Calling for some rain showers this afternoon. I say bring it on.

Yesterday morning it was 71 F and I thought I would freeze leaving Mobile, AL headed north. This morning we are in the 60's but I guess I've adjusted a bit. No worries tho, back up 100 + for the weekend.

Headed for 112 today here in the desert S.W. Tropical storm Hilary will impact us by the weekend. Temperatures are expected to drop to the low 100s with a good chance of some rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There are clouds already forming in the mountains surrounding the valley..... but that's not unusual. Hard to believe we're past the midpoint of August. Good riding weather is just around the corner. Yesterday we saw 112 degrees. Last evening, all hell broke loose at about 6PM. Thunder, lightning, wind, and rain as a fast-moving storm passed directly overhead. I would guess the wind speed was in excess of 50MPH with gusts much higher. The rain was hitting my (now clean) windows like a fire hose. By 7:30PM it was all over. I did a golf cart cruise around the community and didn't see any major damage. Just lots and lots of debris from small branches and leaves. Although I've seen some rain in the last couple of weeks, this is the first storm to actually make it to Phoenix's official weather station where they had the first measurable rainfall in 147 days.

Today is mostly cloudy and there is a good chance for a storm repeat this evening. The high will only get to 102. More storms are expected as Hilary moves north into California and Nevada. While we're not expected to be in its direct path, we will surely see a lot of action! Stay safe..... Jim

The current weather in Vermont is Cool. The current temp is 69 degrees. Partly Sunny.

There is a front coming thru tonight. The humility is falling and Saturday will feel like fall :gaah and the leafs are starting to show there colors).

Saturday it will partly cloudy. The temps will be in the 60's.

Sunday will be better day of the weekend, the be in the 70's and 80's.

Monday will be dry, we will have an other cold front coming thru and will bring a round of showers.

Weekend Weather 8/19/23 - 8/20/23

:yes:..The numbers for today and Sunday are good. Currently we have 63°F and clouds. No rain in the forecast for us. We had some good rain earlier this week. I'm good for the time being.

Today's high is only 82°F with lots of sunshine.
Low at 61°F.
The Spyder wants to go and I am ready.

Everything is good for me. I hope you are doing well.

Sunshine Sunday should be looking real good.
High of 90°F and low at 68°F.
