:chat:...Well if yesterday's rain was good, look out for today's heavy rains. Calling for some flooding issues along the rivers here in Indiana.
So be careful about driving through water on your road. They say two inches of flowing water can make your car move. Better Safe than Sorry.

Today is going to be off and on all day rain. Currently we have overcast sky and 53°F.
High today of 69°F with lots of rain.
Low of 35°F and maybe get some snow showers this evening.

Stay Safe and Dry. ....

Recap for March was 11 rides and 1159 miles. Trying to plan a trip leaving IL on Saturday to travel to Lake of Ozarks and then on to Batesville AR on Monday to view the eclipse with my brother from FL. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

:gaah:...Yesterday was a very rainy day here in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky and 37°F. I did see some snow flakes falling, but nothing to worry about. Rain amount for us was almost 2". There is a lot of water areas in my yard and a little creek running through the back yard.

Calling for more rain today and there's flood warnings posted. Everyone try and stay safe and remember that flood waters are a real nightmare. I have seen first hand what they can do.

Today's numbers are 41°F with rain.
Low at 34°F. More rain is coming in the afternoon.

Stay Healthy and Be Safe. ....

They have issued High Wind Warnings today here in Vermont.

What.... East winds 30 to 40 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH.

Where..... Eastern Addison, Eastern Chittenden, Eastern Rutland Counties

When..... Until 10 AM EDT Thursday

Impacts..... Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Additional Details..... Localized blizzard and whiteout conditions are possible tonight across the higher passes.

Also, the long anticipated late-season winter storm is finally here, and it won't be going away any time soon. A wintry mix of rain, sleet, and snow will eventually change to mostly heavy, wet snow as we go through the evening and overnight hours. The snow will be the heaviest and steadiest in the higher elevations over 1,000 feet. The snow will be fairly steady through Thursday morning before tapering off to snow showers in the afternoon. But those on-and off snow showers will be very persistent right thru Friday and much of Saturday as the storm system just slowly drifts to the East.

Strong, damaging winds will be with us during the evening and overnight hours, especially along the Western-facing slopes of the Green Mountains where wind gusts could exceed 60mph. Power outages are likely, especially in the Western areas of Bennington, Rutland, and Addison Counties of Vermont. Those winds will come down as we go through the day on Thursday, but they will still be pretty brisk.

Snowfall totals from this storm will vary a lot depending on elevation, and the snow accumulation will be happening over the course of the next several days. By the time it is all said and done late Saturday, the higher elevations will end up with anywhere from 6-12" of that heavy wet snow. Some of the highest peaks will end up with 18" or more. But the valleys will only pile up anywhere from 2" to 8" over the next several days, as there will be more mixing with rain, and sleet.

Once the storm moves out by Sunday morning, there will be a BIG Change in the weather pattern. High pressure will build in the and clear out the skies - just in time for the GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE on Monday!!!! There will also be a big warm-up for early next week too!

The current temp is 36 degrees and mostly cloudy. It is not snowing yet!

:shemademe_smilie:.....Welcome back from the Weekend currently we have overcast sky and 50°F.

Enjoy your Day and Be careful about watching the Solar Eclipse. Not sure about the clouds and being able to
take in the full event of the Eclipse. They are saying that we will get to enjoy some of the Sky Show. Definitely going to be an amazing deal.

Today's high should be 74°F with some clouds.
Low is 52°F.

Stay Safe and Enjoy Your Day. ....

Enjoy the Eclipse if you're able.

A couple of cool days so far, but mostly playing with high 60's and low 70's.

Today is eclipse day. We will have a good view from our property. Lightly overcast, but the sun is visible anyway. We took a short trip into town and was amazed at the traffic on the highway at 10:30 AM. This will be my second and last full eclipse.

Sunny with a few high thin clouds here in the desert. The high will be 75. The eclipse was only about 30% here. We are not in the path of the total. Maximum eclipse for us occurred at 11:20 AM. I don't have the proper equipment to look directly. Best described as the sun being dimmed, like on a light dimmer. Still sunshine with good shadows but the intensity was noticeably reduced. It was kinda weird. We're back to normal now. Stay safe..... Jim

Wednesday 4/10
