• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Surfing Ebay and found this ad. This person is selling the instructions for a frunk spring mod. No parts included and you only receive instructions on how to do it via email with this $9.95 purchase.

I know free enterprise is the American way, but I would like your opinions on this. People that do not know of this site or that BRP sells the parts and instructions for less than $5.00 are going to purchase this. I wonder if the seller got the instructions from this site ???

:chat:

Didn't you see the title? It's for Phantom owners only :joke: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Seriously though, I can see maybe charging a couple of bucks, but $9.95, that's crazy!! Not to mention he/she has already sold 2! Wouldn't it be something if the email they sent you for instructions included a link to the SpyderLovers thread.

:roflblack: There's a lot of folks out there who've got :cus: that are bigger than their brains! :roflblack:
But there's a market for stuff like this because there's also a lot of very lazy folks out there who wouldn't take the time to research the issue for solutions! :gaah:

I will be starting a new ebay company selling all sorts of things you can just figure out yourself.

How to put on your pants: 1.99
How to put on your shirt: 1.99
How to put on shoes with laces: 2.99 (advanced course)
How to put on shoes with velcro: 0.99
How to put on heels and walk in them if your a dude: 9.99 (advanced course)

I think me and the low budget CEO DIY guy can make a killing, be back in a bit, getting a business license.

universal coat hanger.

That reminds me of the old classified ad scam for the universal coat hanger for $9.95. The ad had a long description of how great this coat hanger was, listed all the things that could be hung from it and how it could be located almost anywhere.

The buyer got a 6 inch spike with instructions on how to nail it into the wall. :yikes:

Are you undercutting me K? :roflblack:
The business license instructions PLUS how to recognize an online scam... $13.50! :roflblack:

Sounds like an old Judge Judy case. Someone ordered a used cellphone for $75.00 and received a pictrure of the cell phone. Judy could not break the perpetrator down that this was wrong or deceitful. The seller kept insisting the customer got the cellphone they ordered. Caveat Emptor :roflblack:

If you check out his other items he has hood spring w/instructions or both hood and seat springs w/instructions for a small up charge plus $6.84 for shipping.

Those people from NC are pretty sharp.

The function is exponential ... the number of suckers being born is increasing more rapidly and the interval is becoming much shorter.

:2thumbs::2thumbs: :roflblack: and free instructions on the topic of your choice with a DOUBLE your money-back guarantee! :roflblack:

Limited time offer and your mileage may vary!

The instructions for the spring loaded opener are just a come-on. Instructions for closing the frunk are $27.95...........for real!!!!.......no kidding.........I was on the design team. Guaranteed to work, no tools required, 100% hand operated. No special training needed, just a very low IQ.

Close in comfort,

John
