• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Tail Bag Luggage Rack Suggestions

:agree: A piece of plywood, that has been cut to fit. Add some U-bolts, to hook it to the grabrails, and some eyebolts on top: for tie-downs!

Hmmm, not quite where my project is going, if I'm understanding where your "cut to fit" is referring to. Above all, I need horizontal, higher up connection ability to snug the load to the backrest. I'm cookin' up a metal rack design. When I'm ready to present it to the Spyder world, I'll mass produce it and make my first million! :)

That's just a profit of $10 from every Spyder owner, or $1,000,000 from one who REALLY likes to carry bags of feed!

Going vertical... I can dig it!

I'm waiting to see what you cook up: your kitchen must be awesome! :D

I'm expecting the former - small profit from every owner. After all, doesn't EVERYONE want to stash feed on their Spyders? :dontknow:

My cats certainly think my kitchen is awesome (24/7 catering service). Husband, not so much ("where's the beef?" in my too-veggie dishes). But my recipe for a Spyder seat/F250 bed conversion will knock 'em off their feet. :)

Rob- I am glad you posted this. Looking forward on seeing the options and would like to add to your questions.

I have a partial or 1/2 cover. I think that I read on here that if I get the rear trunk rack my cover won't fit anymore? Anyone know if that is true?

Blacklightning- Did you notice a difference in how your spyder handled with the rack? I noticed a big difference when I ride double... and I don't like the different feeling...

Thanks :ohyea:

Photos orieinted wrong, see next post. :gaah:

I have the luggage rack and half-cover from canamspyderaccessories.com on our 2021 RTL. I take the bag off the rack at night when I park and the half-cover fits just fine.
