Hmmm, not quite where my project is going, if I'm understanding where your "cut to fit" is referring to. Above all, I need horizontal, higher up connection ability to snug the load to the backrest. I'm cookin' up a metal rack design. When I'm ready to present it to the Spyder world, I'll mass produce it and make my first million!

My cats certainly think my kitchen is awesome (24/7 catering service). Husband, not so much ("where's the beef?" in my too-veggie dishes). But my recipe for a Spyder seat/F250 bed conversion will knock 'em off their feet.

I have a partial or 1/2 cover. I think that I read on here that if I get the rear trunk rack my cover won't fit anymore? Anyone know if that is true?

Blacklightning- Did you notice a difference in how your spyder handled with the rack? I noticed a big difference when I ride double... and I don't like the different feeling...

I have the luggage rack and half-cover from canamspyderaccessories.com on our 2021 RTL. I take the bag off the rack at night when I park and the half-cover fits just fine.

I installed a trailer hitch and one of the racks from Doc Humphrey. It was very useful when the wife and I went to the Rally in Maggie Valley this past fall. I would estimate that it increased my carrying capacity by at least 50%.View attachment 141953

Any issues with the exhaust pointed right at whatever you are carrying in that hitch mounted rack?
