• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your opinion please ...

Today I received a set of the new Daytime Running LEDs from Tricled. These are the dense LED strips that go on the A arm of the spyder.

Should I put them on the lower or upper A arm??

LED strip

Help me decide.

I put mine on the bottom A arms.

The radiator heat burned one set up (left side), so I took them off.

I replaced mine with the LED lighted bumpskid.

Opinions...??

Mine is that of putting them on the upper arm. They are more visable in the daytime..imo..

If u Google can am spyder with led strips an click on image it will show up a lot of image of that an it can help u with u out.

Yep! Here is why....

  1. They will be more visible to oncoming traffic in the day-time.
  2. There is a "fin" that partially covers the bottom A-frame rail (at least on my 2013 RT) which will hide part of them.
  3. The plug that they plug into is under the top rail, so they will be easier to install there.
  4. They will get slightly less road grime there.

Ditto on robmorg 's post, plus they wont get damaged as much from hitting things on the road such as road kill. I put mine on top and love them there.

This has to be the most visible bike on the market but a lot of people seem to put LEDs on. Especially the S model is like having an xmas tree on the front of your bike. i want to put a few LED strips on my new one but underneath just for the under glow factor which looks cool imo.
