• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

your favorate riding areas.

I went out riding Sunday night and found some interestingforested roads which are hard to find in Northwest Illinois. They all center on the Penny Road Pub on Penny Road in Barrington.I had a good burger at the Pub and there were a good number of bikes parked inthe lot. One was a 1947 HD. Penny road has several cross streets that are fun toexplore such as Algonquin, Sutton, Bartlett, Rout 68 Dundee, Higgins, ShoeFactory, and Brinker roads. traffic was very light, I just had to watch for deer.

I know not everyone lives in my area, but I am sure you have your favorite riding areas to.

Barrington Hills is my favorite short ride place. When I have more time I like to hit Genoa, Mount Morris, Oregon, Belvidere and when I can Savanna. I can be into the Barrington Hills area in about 15 minutes. It's hard to believe that wide open horse country is so close.:doorag:

Depending on what I am riding......

The hands down two best rides are....
#1 would be HWY #1 from Oregon to Baja California
#2 would be any and all of HWY $49 in the gold country of California
However, right now it is not a pretty site with all the burned trees buildings
and homes that have been destroyed, but I know they will all be back to their
former glory soon..... I hope
Ride Safe

Highways 49 and 89 through the Sierras. Highway 1 along the Oregon and California coast. Highway 12 through Utah. Some of the best times were when we got off our planned route and said "Let's see what is down this road".
