• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Young Riders? (Introduction)

Hey yall, shopping around found this nugget on Craigslist.

http://palmsprings.craigslist.org/mcy/5802535809.html
Would love the opinion of anyone who cares to chime in, Any obvious red flags i'm missing? Other then the price tag..
Looks like a really clean bike, not sure why anyone would start there negotiations so low.
Anything specific questions i should ask or things should look for if i go to see it in person?

Now that's a bit more like it.

That machine has had a lot of touring/comfort mod's done on it and in the process quite a bit of money spent as they have been done properly. The mod's look to include adjustable touring screen, risers on the bars, comfort grips, rider floorboards, lower pillion pegs, rear rack and pillion backrest, aftermarket exhaust and a different seat (I'm guessing an early comfort model?). All very popular mod's to RS's particularly before the RT/ST came along.

The condition of the machine looks excellent. Certainly better than mine:-)

Yes well worth a look.

Thanks for the comments!
This bike unfortunately sold before i could even ask for more info on it. figures, it was priced to sell.
I couldn't have pulled the trigger on it so quickly anyway, someone snagged a nice looking Spyder today.

My son is 19 and has ridden bikes and loves the Spyder. He rides my f3s while I ride the f3t and loves every single moment.
