• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You ain't gonna believe this!

Was at auto zone yesterday to pick up some supplies I needed and while there was looking at waxes and polishes and picked up a tube of wax made by Meguiar's called white wax.Specially made wax for white cars.Chuckled to my self and thought what will they think of next.Anything to make a buck and put it down and walked on. Thought for a minute and went back and picked it up and thought what the hell got the wifes credit card I'll be a sucker and bought it. When I got home I laid it on the back of my truck and went in the house. Went to the garage today and remembered I bought it and thought lets give it a try. I have a 86 AMC Eagle wagon that I am pretty proud of and its white and burguandy so I did half of the hood and one front fender.Let it haze and wiped it off and stood there in shock! WOW! My wife owns a Nissian and its pearl white so I did half the hood and front fender of it. Again WOW! Makes the pearl pop. So then I looked at our pearl white spyder and did the fronk and front fenders and I'm still in shock! Talk about shine and the pearl just jumps out at ya. For years I have used Meguiars Tech 2.0 and really like it and will continue to use it but for the white and pearl its white wax.As crazy as it might sound try it and it will make a believer out of you too. Also works great on chrome and polished alumimum. Going back tomorrow and buy another one or two tubes to finish what I've started and do the rv as well. Still can't believe that pop and you won't either.

:agree: I agree wholeheartedly! we have an old 73 white corvette "tee top" and it makes the world of difference when we use it. I thought I might have been a sucker the first time I bought it, but it made a believer out of me!

Meguiar's has two such waxes.

White wax for light to white colors and Black wax for dark to black colored vehicles.

Get a bottle of each.

Do one side of the red vehicle with each bottle.

Post results.
