There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Hi Gene,
I installed a RS Yoshimura muffler (with DIY mod) on my 2015 F3S SE6 Spyder yesterday, (F3 blog).
It is fairly quiet at steady rpm freeway speed (what I was hoping for), but barks louder with kind of a wailing race sound, when getting on throttle of 1330cc in line triple!!
I really like the mellow deep sound!!!
I had a Yoshimura muffler on my 2011 RT that I really liked the sound of with the 990cc twin, but packing burned out in 4,500 miles; (so Yoshimura Tech said they would not build a pipe mod for the 2014 RT in line triple).
(Yoshimura Tech said if packing burns out pre-mature on my 2015 F3S triple, they will put in Stainless Steel packing for me).
(So I think my 2011 RT had same sound as your RS with Yoshimura muffler you love the sound of)!
So Gene, now no excuse of not owning a 2016 F3 in line triple, with the RS Yoshimura muffler mod on it, ha!
Thanks for your tip on securing baffle bolt (I put Red Loctite on it).
Enjoy your rides around San Diego, Ca! (Loved riding my motorcycles around Julian mountain roads years ago!

HI Jim, Julian is a regular ryde for us but there is so much more. Sometimes just head out into the hills in no particular direction just to see where it will lead. Have found some amazing places. Not sure how many miles are on my Yoshimura but still sounding good. Might consider the steel packing . Thanks for the info...
