• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

anyone have any feedback on a 2005 V star i was offered a 2005 650 with 17,000 miles for $3000 with tax & tags. I am looking for bike to play around with and as an alternative to my Spyder. I love my toys LOL

I had a 2001 V-star 650. I decked it out real pretty. It was a great bike and I had zero issues with it. You could do worse--V star is a good machine.

I had two of them over the years... GREAT little bikes! Very torquey engines that'll pull top gear way better than the displacement would suggest. Not a high speed ride... it's about the cruising!
Oh! Better than 50 mpg easy! :ohyea:

Vstar

Hubby has a 2009 Vstar 1300. He absolutely loves the bike. And it keeps him off my spyder.

v star

two words for you.....BUY IT
the v stars are tough machines, i owned 3 of them....they are like a goldwing, bulletproof

thanks

The Viragos had that funky "made in Japan cruiser" that the V-Stars finally corrected...
But they're available and cheap!
