• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yamaha nailed it!

So Pete----- you have a 3 wheeler or two???:joke::joke::joke:

Yamaha does make good stuff. I have a 98 V-Max ( Yes, that's 22 years ) Runs as good as new and looks that way too.

I have two 3-wheelers. Previously had a 2005 V-Star for many years. Great bikes

I hate that I probably sound like some of the people who see our Spyder for the first time, but it takes a while to get used to the look. I think it's because it looks like a 2 wheeler with an extra wheel and the Spyder looks like a totally different machine?

I agree. Other than both having three wheels, they are totally different machines .

The Niken will tip over if you don't put down the kickstand. Having owned a Yamaha FZ09, it'll rip :)

Yeah, Yamaha nailed it alright. If this bike had been available back in 2015, we would would have bought it instead of the Spyder. We do like the Spyder mind you.

Nice, But when your riding along and you come to the stretch of road about 2 to 3 miles long and has 10 red lights and your going to end up stopping for everyone of them, that's when you have a smile on your face riding your Spyder as it holds you and your passenger up as you wait for the light to turn green.

It's pretty cool :)
Also looking forward to when/if Honda release their Neowing. Similar concept, but with the front suspension more similar to Spyder/Ryker. And front wheels a bit more spaced apart, so something inbetween a Nyken and a Spyder. Really cool concept I think!

Curious to know, what do you people think? Personally I would prefer the Neowing over the Nyken, perhaps even over a Spyder/Ryker? Depends on how it handles, price etc obviously :)

I'm sorry to report, but Harley beat the Piagio MP3, the Syder, the Neowing, and the Nyken by a decade or more. Unfortunately, like many other H-D bikes, they decided to stick with the traditional cruisers. You can see where that has led - - -

https://www.aimag.com/the-curious-case-of-harleys-tilting-three-wheeler-the-penster/ Enjoy!Joe T.

H-D has become captive to their own creation (i.e. the H.O.G. owner / rider). Ironic, that.

Harley seems to be everybody's whipping boy :( As Don Henley would say "kick em when they're up, kick em when they're down". They are an american icon in the m/v world, not so much BRP..
