• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have been wanting to get rid of the grey colour on my Spyder for 2 1/2 years. after seeing the plasti-dip thread(thanks Pablito),I took the plunge and bought 3 cans of black plasti-dip,one can of tremclad flat black, and one can of rust-chek sprayable bed liner. Wheels are plasti-dipped, as I am not 100% sure i want them black. Foot peg parts are spray-on bed liner, and the handlebar cover is tremclad.
Spent two nights working on it, and I love it!
Also did the front shock re-drill,lubed the front suspension bushings, remove and clean/lube the rear brakes, and added an extended plug to the frunk outlet so i can set it on the ground and then unplug it.
And did the canisterectomy, including extending the fuel tank vent out the bottom of the Spyder.Plus did some work to stop the dreaded "oil in the airbox" issue.028.jpg029.jpg030.jpg031.jpg032.jpg

Looks great! Keep us posted on how well the bedliner holds up around the pegs. That area and the sprocket area are the only spots that hold me back from doing mine.....
