• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've just looped it up over the lip... I'm reluctant to do any cutting on it, since it's there to keep water out...
This Winter; I might try something involving a cut-out, a grommet, and lots of goop to seal things up.

By looping it over the lip, you just did allow water to get in by compromising the rubber seal of the lid ;)

I think the easy and simple way is to drill a hole, run the cable, then just use some silicon sealant from Home Depot and seal it off. If you ever need to remove it, it is easy to peal the sealant away.

That's about the highest point on the bike, and the seal should be able to form over an antenna of that size without harm to either of the two of them...
