• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

randy i just had my xm installed and i can't figure out how to turn it on, can you help me out. and sorry i can't help you out

Randy, I assume you have contacted XM and set up your account and had them "turn on your radio signal"? After that follow the instructions that came with your XM radio. I will admit, it is a chore to set up channels. If you have done this, you should be getting Ch. 1, which is ads and what different channels have to offer. If getting Ch. 1, follow the instructions. Mine works great but I only have four or five channels set up as that is all I am interested in listening to....good luck. If all fails, call their 800 number....they have helped me several times....

Sirius is a great service. BUT their customer service is pure crapola, very few reps talk understandable English, the wait times are long. Also whatever they want to charge you, do some bargaining, they'll come down.

just found this, if it helps

I get XM but it does not display the preset numbers so that I can set them. I can hold the button down and it will go thru the stations but there is no preset number to assign it to. If I hit the selector quick like to go up or down one number to a different station it will default down to 1 and then I have hold it down while it scrolls thru the stations and then release the button when it gets to the station. Let me ask this. Will a number show up after it is saved or should a number be displayed before it is saved so you know what that number is? I keep trying to get a number up first maybe that is my issue

Thanks
