• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Wrap My SpYder"

You did great with the install.

I purchased a kit from WMS in December but have been afraid to install them myself. I am taking my bike to a shop to get my WMS kit and lights from TricLED installed on Friday ... excited

I'll be honest. I don't like most of the wraps I see on Spyders, but that black on black looks really good! Great job!

Yah some of the wraps you see out there are a bit --- well I can't even come up with a word but having said that as long as the owner of the spYder likes it that's what is important. Yah when I started looking at wraps I kind of didn't really want anything to STAND-OUTISH so to speak of - I do like the Black being kind of all Black and the Carbon Wrap kind of shadows the black and compliments it rather nice. Thanks for the comment Bam Bam and Pebbles...

:D That's the great thing about personalizing your bike...

Yah I hear you. Really though it wasn't that bad at all. I have almost zero experience on the whole installation of graphics, I mean I have installed some chrome pieces for my truck and all but when it comes to installation of a adhesive type graphic -- Greenhorn for sure... I wouldn't be scared to tackle it yourself but I respect your decision to have a professional install them... Best of luck and post some pics bro.

Joe, that's one sweet ride... :doorag:

Thank you YAZZ... Hey yea Pete I noticed in the video on applying a DRY application that you did not take off the spYder F3 sticker that is on the lower section of the knee protector ---- I didn't know that you could keep that there --- I removed mine during my install --- I have to tell you I would have kept them there if I didn't think it would mess up the install cause they kicked my butt trying to take them off. I am sure somewhere along the lines you make a note of that in your instructions -- I missed that part... After watching you install the RED ACCENT over the F3 on the Knee accent I need to get that done -- I LOVED how it stuck out.. Great work and a great product for sure.. Joe

So is it unsafe 2 ride 2 up with stock Springs? Do I need to replace them?
It will be mainly me riding, but would like to include my wife or some buddies every now and then on the rear seat

I think it's unsafe to ride the F3 even one-up with the horrible stock rear shock. Causes fatigue on the frame from all the bouncing... hence the cracked frame problems.
Spend $150 and upgrade that shock..... makes a huge difference.

Decided to go with elka shocks. Dealer quoted me 240$ for install. That sound about right? Seems high to me. If I was mechanically inclined I would do it, but as it stands I was not blessed with those skills.
