• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Well we took our first ride on our 2014 RT Limited and it was great. A few growing pains but after a while it was great. I've got a lot to learn about the bike. Anyone out there live near Flossmoor, Il? What type of fuel should I use--I've head mid to premium. Any suggestions on pretrip and post trip checks? What should I include it my toolkit? How do I raise/lower the passenger pegs? Thanks, Mike Gonna have a million questions

Congrats on your new Spyder. Lots of great folks and info to be found here!! Read your owners manual several times. Stay safe.

If you want best possible MPG and performance, use the highest grade gas you can find, and don't sweat the
occasional tank of the "cheap stuff", it will still run just fine.

Passenger board height adjustment is like ...kind of self explanatory... you DO see those bolts there right?

Take your time reading the manual, watching the video, just really learning your RT's traits, you will be impressed.
Don't hurry to go fast. It probably has more than enough oomph in ECO mode. and that doesn't affect how
it brakes or handles.

And CONGRATULATIONS ! Stay safe.

:congrats: on a GREAT Bike! :2thumbs:
Raise the passenger floorboards, and you can easily see the bolt that holds them in place.
91 octane is what the book says...
Did I mention reading your manual: from cover to cover? :D

Yeah, I know some of my ?'s are simple and self explanatory but I'm in such a hurry. I read the manual on line before I even got the bike. Any one close to Flossmoor, Illinois that has experience and can tell me if I have any issues I need to address on the bike. Thanks, Mike?

(a) Read the Manual

(b) Enjoy your Spyder

(c) Since you live in Flossmoor, head over to Aurelio's Pizza in Homewood and send me a large pizza. Best pizza in the country IMO. Damn, I miss that place!

:congrats: on the RT. Your going to like it.

Another vote for premium. The cheaper stuff wont kill your ride, but the RT is worth the best--IMO.
