• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We bought our 2010 RS Spyder in July of this year. Made all the mods so the wife and I would be comfortable. We have put a little over 3000 miles on it. Well on Friday I took my wife to a large empty parking lot for here first driving lesson. I had never rode on the back before, so this was a new experience for me. And she had never driven a bike before. Well long story short after about 15 minutes she says she says "I WANT ONE OF THESE!" :2thumbs:. Took here on some back roads so she could get the feel of a little more speed. So looks like there is going to be some more driving lessons in my future, and we need to start saving up for another bike. A few weeks ago we went on a ride with three other ladies and there Spyders, They invited her to ride in the Heels on Three Wheels ride next year.

Oooooboy. Yes, letting the spouse drive your Spyder can be a problem. It took my spouse one test drive and she had to have one of her own. That was back in 2009 and she had one of the first semi-autos in Alaska. Two years and 18,000 miles later she is still going strong. Enjoy, and spend some quality time with her on rides and overnights to wonderful places.

YAY!! Another local lady Spyder rider.

It doesn't take long to know you want a Spyder. After Killerbee got his, I knew I was tired of looking at the back of his head. I'm a senior citizen (which is only good for a senior coffee at McDonald's) and have never ridden any motorcycle. Went cross country this summer on mine and haven't stopped riding. Good to see so many women taking the plunge!

same for me a few rides with my husband (while popping the back of his helmet) and I got my own. Loving every minute of it.

I had mine for 2 weeks when my wife asked if she could try to ryde it. 2 weeks later she had her own. That is the way the Spyder bites.

:agree: It's the way to go. My Wife loves the RS-S which is now her bike. It's so much more fun riding together with her experiencing the ride on rider's terms.
