• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

wow check this out for small dents in your car

Cool..!!

Do they give you any clues as to what the product is or where to get it..?? :2thumbs: most of my dents are from home depot..seems few can control a cart there..:roflblack:

It's a can of dust off. Same thing you use on computers to clear dust. It's a refrigerant. If you hold the can upside down, the refrigerant is dispensed. It is super cold and causes the metal to rapidly contract. I use to do the same thing with dry ice.

At least 'Vettes don't get dented... ;)

But they DO get cracked! :gaah:

I wonder if Chevy has ever considered going to an aluminum body for them?
Wouldn't that be a weight-saver? :dontknow:

Corvette went from fiberglass over a steel frame to a mix carbon fiber and carbon composite urethane over an aluminum frame. All aluminum body panels were state of the art in the early to mid 2000s. That is what the Ford GT and a number of exotics used at the time. Its pickup truck tech now.

Today's vette Z06 will all its creature comforts and power weighs less than the 2005 Ford GT. Time marches on.

More use of carbon fiber in panels that can sustain part of the structural load and carbon fiber wheels are next steps. Then a carbon frame / body.
