I called the local BRP dealer who is also listed as a dealer for the Slingshot. They said that they would have them in Oct & put me on the contact list for a test drive.

Release date

According to the press in New Zealand the Slingshot won't be coming off the production line until early 2015.

What about exhausts/mufflers in the stats ?

A whole bunch of us are eagerly awaiting information on the Slingshot. A few have them on order. A few more are on the edge of adding one or trading Spyder off to get one.

It's going to be a great vehicle IMO--of course. The subject will be ripe for threads for some time to come. :yes::yes:

So many of these seem to claim their roots are from the spyder or the media lumps us in with them but neither apply. We are in a class all our own...!! :2thumbs:

I bought the red SL version. I am just waiting on it to arrive. I am keeping my RT for sure. I just want a new toy to play with. I have the first one off the truck at my dealer.
