• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Would you like your '13 or '14 Shocks stiffened ?

Just got Mr Gasket 1287's. Wow these are pretty big. 4" middle diameter and 6" outside. Outside height is 1 5/8" and a claimed 1" lift. I don't think these are going to fit. Anyone have the dimensions of the Moose Shock Spring Wedges or others you have used?
Thanks.
Scott

Unless you plan on returning them, cut off about a 1" wide piece and see if it goes in. If so, add 2 or 3 more and test ride. Add more if you want a firmer ride. Use lots of soapy water, simple green, etc. Shouldn't have any problem.

Just an update. Got a hold of the correct spacers finally and installed them. Used the Simple Green spray technique and just pushed them on. No need to lift the spyder. Started with one end of the spacer and once that snapped into place I just kept working it on as I pushed it along the spring. Only took a couple of minutes to get both on and in place.
They have helped. Still would like more so sometime in the future I will probably go with the Elka shocks. But for now it is nice having the extra stiffness for cornering.
Use the Moose spacer. The Mr Gasket one was over twice the size and probably wouldn't have worked. Never tried it though. Needed to send it back. I didn't think they wanted Simple Green all over their product when I returned it. Go figure.
