would you consider this a racist add,,, and why

this is a add from the gap clothes store for a line of Ellen clothes. people complained saying it is racist and the gap pulled the add. until i read the story, i studied the picture and couldn't find what they were talking about. just by looking at the picture, can you figure out what they say is wrong with it.

As I understand it the uproar is over the fact that the African American girl is nothing more than a "shelf" for the white girl to lean on.

There's another image that's part of that ad compaign with an African American girl leaning on a white girl; almost the exact same pose. No one is complaining about that one.

Of course not. If the same people were complaining for all races I would kinda understand to a point. Which I believe is taken way out of context these days. Its all based on individual agendas and where the masses must bow/conform to the few. Much like how this country started....NOT!

Exit question: Since this was for Ellen DeGeneres' clothing line wouldn't you think she would have approved the ads (or at least reviewed them?) Why is no one upset at her for this?
