I'm looking to black out my windshield and I did not want to spend over a $100.00 on a new one with the black already on it. Can't I go to Walmart and spend $10.00 on limo black window tint and achieve the same result ??? Has anyone tried this ??? What side of the windshield would I put it on for the best result ??? Would it work and if not, Why ??? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Paint the inside and I think you'll like the results. I've painted a few but I can't find the pics but here's another guy that did his.

I tried tint & could not get it to stick.
I'd go with Lamonts idea.
