• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have a 2015 f 3 with 3000 miles on it. Did a 170 trip Saturday prior, went to take out of garage and would not start with out having to twist the throttle. Would only stay running with throttle cracked , dealer said might be fouled plugs, they can not look at till the 13 th. Saw some where about having bad vaccum lines on athread but can find it. If some one could point me in the right direction on where to look for these to check would be appreciated, wife wants to ride

:welcome:
If you've got to twist the throttle in order to fire it up: you will have fouled plugs. nojoke
The issue with vacuum lines is a "998 thing..." :D
Good luvk; let us know what the dealer finds!

Thanks for the info. Is there link on here showing what needs to be removed to get the plugs. Manual on order due in Thursday

So so when to get the bike ready for the dealer to pickup. Thought what the hell, tried to start it again. Low an be hold it starts, out of the exhaust pops out a small dead bird. Would have never thought to check the exhaust for a blockage.

The $64,000 dollar question becomes:
"How the heck did it get in there?" :dontknow:
Don't tell me that it went through the entire engine, and ended-up in that unfortunate spot! :D

Yikes...!!

Glad it was that simple. Should have popped out with a good revving, which is something to try in these cases. I have seen, in my years at shops, many who are a bit over excited washing their bikes get a bit to much water in the muffler or stuffing rags in the air intake so water would not get in but forgetting to remove them. The water in the muffler usually required mopping up the mess that shot across the shop....:roflblack: sounds like your good to go...
