Wiring question

For 2012 RT A&C. I am trying to install a pair of LED lights from near the shocks on both sides to one of the empty switchs just below the handlebar. I have a switch to put in empty slot. My question. Below the switches is a orange plug with five rows of two slots to plug into. What is that plug for and can I tap into it to power the LED lights? Thank you for your reply's.

This is probably not answering your question but personally, I ran a +12v from the battery to the switch and tapped the ground from a gauge.

Thanks. I was hoping to avoid more wires to the battery.
