There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Wiring for 2 Stebel horns questions

P.W.

Good morning,
I'm not an electrician, and not real sure this is a good idea.....but would like to try to wire two Stebel Nautilus Compact Motorcycle Air Horns to our 2019 RT....one behind the left panel and one behind the right....but have a couple questions.

1-If wired correctly is the OEM horn button capable of running two horns safely?
2-I assume I would need a relay for each horn?..... OR do I only need one relay to run both?

Thanks for your time and help!

Definitely use a relay or you will burn up the horn switch. You should be able to go with 1 relay to drive both horns. Horn power needs to be wired to the battery through relay & an adequate size fuse (20a?). Horn button will trigger the relay and horns will be fed from battery.

Be aware the horn button is between the horn and ground. Run a power lead from the battery to the relay spades for the contact and the coil. Run the ground wire from the coil to the horn button wire coming from the OEM horn. Run the wire from the relay contact to the horns. Connect the ground side of the horns to ground.
