Wiring Colors for lights

I looking to hook up my GPS to the light circuit which was previously used for the analog gauges. If anyone knows the colors or has a wiring diagram for a 2012 RT I'd appreciate the info. Thanks in Advance

Doesn't anyone have a wiring diagram for an Rt?

The lighting wire should be orange w/red, and the ground black w/violet, but I won't guarantee it. Best to test with temporary jumpers in the terminals, or use Posi-Taps so you don't destroy the wires.

Thanks, I'll check that combination out with a meter. I definitely had planned on using taps so the gauges could be reinstalled if necessary.

Another question about wiring...
What color is used for the grounds going out to the turnsignals on the RTs? I've finally figured out what I want to do for some additonal turnsignal indicator lights; now I've just got to work on the "how" part of the project! pps:

Grounds are black, or black with a colored stripe, on the Spyder. The RT signal grounds should be black on both sides of the connector.

I would have probably guessed Black; but why guess when an ask gets you the correct answer and saves all of the nasty 12 volt fireworks display?

That is the trailer tongue harness. Thge color codes are not necessarily the same.
