• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wires going into seat?

I have a 2011 RTS, I have wires feeding into the underside of my seat just across from where the tool kit hangs, red, green, and blue. I have no idea what they are for. I don't see anything in the owners manual about them. I thought maybe heated seat but there are no controls. What are they for? Thanks

That is the sensor that determines if you are carrying a passenger. If so, the braking biase and traction control are adjusted accordingly.

Scotty, I thought that those were for the ejection seat on the RT ULTRA Limiteds only... :roflblack:

Actually if you connect the red wire to R 4 in the fuse box, and add an in line a momentary switch it will make the perfect shock seat.
Could be thats why no one will ride with me?. :dontknow:

That reminds me of my High School years... we would break for lunch at the open campus school. Head for the local gas station to buy a cola, smoke a Cig, or hang out in the office area and chat with eachother...... The proprietor finally got tired of all the kids sitting on the counter top so he drove a slew of nails up through the counter top just far enough to so you could feel them. Then he wired a Model T Magneto to them (Need I say More). It took only 2 or 3 times before the word got out STAY OFF THE COUNTER TOPS. And soon he had his quiet office all to himself and a few customers paying for gas.
