• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What ever you do DON'T use the neg. post under the seat, Or you'll posting how in the world do i get that bolt tight again.

Didn't you just get an RT? You can plug the Battery Tender into the accessory plug in the top trunk...
The heated vest; out of my league... :opps:

battery neg.

my battery tender pigtail is straight to the battery. i would do the same with heated gear.

tender hook up

I use the same connection made under the seat for both the battery tender and the gerbings heated clothing thermastat.:spyder2:

I drilled a small hole in the metal frame near the positive terminal under the seat and attached the Gerbing negative with a screw.

Took a male Gerbing plug and wired it onto a batt tender so I could plug it directly into the above during the winter.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the advice.
I figured it out.
Will be taking my Spyder in for 600 mile svc and trailer wireing Friday. Wish me luck.
