• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got here and have tp put her away soon for the winter. Bought a Deltran battery tender jr.. a dealer told me to put in Yamaha fuel stabilizer run it a few miles then park it. Advice please. Is this the move...?:read:

That will do it. Add the stabilizer, top it up, and ride it for fifteen minutes to get it through the fuel system. Others might elaborate and suggest additional precautions against everything from mice to dust, to doing a fresh oil change and each suggestion has its place, but if you do only what you dealer suggested, the bike should be fine in the spring. Good luck!

Didn't know yamahe made the spyder:roflblack:

There are a lot of godd stabilizers Out there sea foam stabil marine formula.

Can buy these from walmart or auto Parts store

I like to put steel wool in the exhaust pipes and some moth balls around the Spyder, seems to keep the mice out. Beside that, stabilizer and I lube up the latches etc. and battery tender.

Just keep riding. Put on extra layer and off you go.

I use StarTron also.
Nice thing about StarTron is that you can accidentally put too much in your tank and it will not hurt anything.
I use it for all my gas motors.

Dryer sheets keep mosquitoes off of you also.

yep

Critters do not like the smell.

Use them in my motor home and have not had an issue with mice ect.

AH-NO-1 In the summer time if you rub dryer sheets on your arms, legs and neck area, mosquitoes will note bite/sting you.
