• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

winterizing question

winterizing

I park my ride at good ole MOM IN LAWS, have a portable garage in the back yard where it stays. Take battery out and bring home to mate with the tender and so far so good. 2008 SM and no winterizing issues. The first year I actually put all kinds of mouse bait in, around the bike and never had a problem. SO far so good. Looking forward to the spring.

To prevent flat spots on the tires, I just ryde it year round. It never sits for more than a few days if its raining, like today and tomorrow.:D

Mine is in the garage with the battery tender with no cover. Why would you need a cover? So, it gets a little dusty; dust it off.
If its going to be a stormy few weeks I will raise the air pressure 3-4 pounds and Move the Spyder 2 feet back for a few days then 4 feet back for a few days to "Kind Of" Rotate the load so it never sits in ONE spot too long.
