• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Winter Will Soon Land In The NorthEast...

Bob,

Sadly I know what you mean. Friday to celebrate our 39th anniversary decided to head out of town and visit the southern part of the state to see if there is any color left on the trees.
Heading to work it was 32° , but it did warm up to the high 40's when we left work and headed out.

Saturday morning we noticed ice on the car windshields in the hotel parking lot, but thankfully it warmed up to the mid 50's that day. We had a great ride even though not much color.

I am sadden to think that our ridding season is quickly coming to an end.

The wife and I did a 250 mile trip yesterday from Western/Southern Fairfield County CT to the far Northeast corner of the state. Stopped at a fall fair for apple pie and hot cider. It was a crisp 46 degrees when we left home, and the further North & East we got, the cooler it got. The on-board thermometer never got above 52 degrees, which, as we all know, is not the real ambient temperature. Saw some foliage, but nowhere near peak yet.We rode a lot of back roads, then had to take I-395 & I-95 for 85 miles on the last leg home. By the time we got home around 6:30 pm it was 39 degrees. Relaxed by the fire with our well deserved cocktails until dinner cane out of the oven. Higher temps are forecast for our area next week, so we will get out again. I agree with Bob, as soon as that c**p  is put on the roads, the Spyder goes into hibernation.

As an aside, we now have put 3,550 miles on the RT since the recall work was done, and it is running like a dream.

You could always get one of these and drive all winter.

Friends of ours live in Windham, Ny. They left this morning for their summer home in Palm Beach. Yesterday she said it was snowing in Tannersville.

We went up to Roscoe this morning, to look around and have some breakfast (By Cage...)
There was more than a fair amount of snow on the ground, from yesterday's storm.
I had to get home, and rake leaves... and have the snow flurries tease me mercilessly! :gaah:

Hot Sexy Girlfriend said there were snow flurries in New Milford this morning.
There are benefits to all the seasons.

 If you guys are gonna start bragging like this now...
By the time February gets here; we'll all be plenty sick and tired of hearing it! :gaah:

Yes... please post some pictures!
After all; a lot of us will be living variously through your experiences, for a while. :D

Yesterday late afternoon, we had rain, then it turn to SNOW large fluffy flakes :gaah: :gaah: :yikes: This morning @ 4:30 the temp was 28 degrees and I had snow/frost on windshield of car. I guess I put the spyder in to it's hibernation just in time.

Is Spring here yet! :roflblack: :roflblack: Deanna

Hoping to get one or two weeks more of riding in until the RT goes into hibernation. Mid 60's next week, gonna try and get out every day. The wife and I had a great ride yesterday, 250 miles on mostly back roads in CT. Hope to get a couple more in before nighty-night time.

I'm so happy for the both of you.
But honestly, I seem to be able to get out for a few hours on New Years Day, every year since 2010. I'm expecting the same this year.
I never put my Spyder or my Piaggio in hibernation. I can always seem to get out for a few days here and there during the winter.
The boat, however, is another story. I expect the boat will be out of the water in the next couple of weeks. The season will definitely be over at that point.
