• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Winter is Coming

I woke up this morning to an inch of snow on the ground. It's still snowing as I type this. I am hoping the snow will melt so we can still get some more riding in. Time will tell. :(

Oh no..!!

say it ain't so...I hate to see you all losing out because of the weather....good luck..!!

:yikes::yikes::yikes:It will be here before we know it! Hopefully a couple of months of fall left!!!

This is way early. The leaves are turning but have mostly, not fallen yet. This is the earliest snow I have seen for our area since I moved here in 2001. We got 36" that year on Oct 12th. No early snows like that since though.

Won't be long before standing at the end of the freshly cleaned drive with a handful of rocks waiting for the snowplow driver to drive by and throw it back in.

Sorry About that

The great thing about living in California is that Winter Time never really gets here, even in Northern California. We will get some rain ans some fog, but a large number of days are sunny and in the 50s to 60s, and what great ryding we have. Hope every one winters well.

I'm still looking for some cool weather....95 here today......but I'm with Ann....No Bike to Ride...maybe by next week and then it will be 93...woohoo.....but cooler weather...65-80 will come and I'm sooooooooooo ready....plan to go north and east to see some color

L knew there is a reason I don't live there. Well.............................that and the possibility of hitting a moose.

So how was your 11 day summer?

Believe it or not, I cannot complain. We had the second warmest summer on record--the best summer I have encountered since I moved here in 2001.

Over thirty five CONSECUTIVE days of 70 or above. We actually hit mid 80's about three times. All sunny days, no rain whatsoever. Yes, it got pretty dry in our area. This was the summer to drive and visit AK.

The usual is two to five days of 70 or higher--if we are lucky.

Our snow melted off the roads so I quickly put on another hundred miles the next day. It has turned cold and I was driving in my winter weight gear in the 30's. The heated grips felt good. Might fire up the BKWIDO later this PM and get another fifty to a hundred miles in.

we are still in the 90's

i welcome the cold hot foot would be nice too. traveling from work at 3am in the cold will be nice hand grips warm foot warm aaahhhh:ohyea::ohyea:
