• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

They say planet earth is billions of years old. We've been keeping weather records for somewhere around a hundred years. Weather averages should fall somewhere in the middle right. The question is the middle of what? The average of a lifetime, the average of record keeping, or the average of the planet. Heres a simple calculation for predicting next year's weather. Take the measurements for temperature and precipitation in your area from the last 10 years. Throw out the extremes, dividing by 3 and multiply time pie (3.14). If you would like to sound more credible predicting next year's weather simply add more calculations.

I too saw the weather report this morning and was amazed. My thoughts went out to ya'll up that way.

As the owner event is fast approaching my hopes have been that we'll have some nice cool temperatures in Maggie Valley. These 90 degree days have sucked a lot of energy out of me.
