• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In Quincy, IL we're supposed to get a record snow fall starting tomorrow with accumulations up to 20". Forecasting thunder snow storms with 45 mph winds and Wednesday night getting down to -10 air temp. Time to hibernate until Spring when my :spyder2: RT LTD arrives.

:gaah: Not much better in St. Louis...........we are currently getting freezing rain which is supposed to get to 1/2 to 1 inch and then 6-10" of snow before it quits mid-day Wednesday. I quess the :spyder2: will sit for another week or so in it's den. I think I'll have another cup of coffee:coffee:.

Snow! I have a suggestion where you could put it alright.:yikes::roflblack::joke:

We're getting more snow this week too! :gaah:

Man, I know the feeling. Had to have a jacket on for the first part of the ryde this morning, then it got better...t-shirt weather, but a long sleeved t-shirt.

This weekend, all I did was move my RT around from one garage bay to the other, and I found the inch of snow on the pavement to be a major pain... :cus:
Too much spinning and cussing! The bike will stay tethered to the Battery tender 'til things clear up!

I moved the RS from the house (it's a long story) to the workshop yesterday. It was -36C at 7:30 in the morning and I let 'er run for 20 minutes or so...brought a tear to my eye.I'm hating this winter!!!nojoke
Time for the mods.

We have areas between the garage and house where there is a walkway, that never get the sun. The snow has piled up. Now, in anticipation of more snow, my husband is hauling the snow by wheelbarrow out on to the driveway for me to push it up into the existing mounds with my plow. Shoveling is all my husband has done lately. The shoveling goes on for days and days long after the snow stops falling. At least my job with the plow is only a couple of hours on the day of the storm.

If we get 20" here on Wednesday I don't know what we will do. The mounds on either side of the driveway are rock hard and going nowhere. The only solution is for the driveway to get narrower and narrower. I'll have to be hiring my neighbor with his bucket loader if this keeps up.

You know, when I said if we get 20" on Wednesday I didn't know what we would do? Me? I think I will lose my mind if this continues!!! :gaah:
I don't know how you go out in this and ryde your Spyder, Jamie. It's ridiculous this winter. Just ridiculous.

We have the forecast for 12 - 15" on Wednesday and I'm not really concerned. This is our first big storm of the season and hopefully the only big storm of the season. I have been very happy to see the northeast get hammered for a change. The best scenario would be for the Canadians to keep their lousy weather in Canada!

Got about an inch of sleet/Ice so far tonight. Roads are slicker than snot. Forecast is for a break tomorrow and more ice tomorrow night before the snow hits. This ice storm is forecast to be the worse ice storm in years. Just hope the power stays on:yikes:

Just so you will know...

You're going to hate me for this.. but ... It was 82 here in Cape Coral Florida today.. Had a great ride on my Spyder. Shorts and all.. Len :2thumbs::shemademe_smilie:

That cold air from Canada is their idea of hands across the border. They love to share with us. :lecturef_smilie:
