There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Windshields: Sport vs. Sport Touring vs. Ultra Touring

I have a 2015 RS and have both the stock Sport windshield and an OEM Ultra Touring windshield. While I prefer the looks of the stock Sport, it's impractical with a half helmet at interstate speeds. I prefer the comfort of the 23" Ultra Touring, but not a fan of the looks of it. I've been kicking around the idea of getting one of the 14" Sport Touring windshields, as it is lower profile and I think would look better to me, but there are very few pictures or reviews of them out there on the inner-webs.

Does anyone have any experience and pictures with the OEM 14" Sport Touring windshield? Does it work to help keep buffering down with a half helmet? Thanks in advance!

I've had the

14 inch on my 09 RS it was good I modified the very end to give it a bit of a curve and it works very well. I upgraded to the 25 inch Ultra touring it has greatly reduced wind buffeting. I don't wear earplugs with that's with the 25 may switch back to the 14 in the middle of the summer

Wish I could swap out quickly

I bought the 25" ultra with the flares to partially cover handgrips . I wish I could easily pop the short sport one back on sometimes but out on the highway the short windshield is not good for me . I found I was fighting the buffeting constantly and thus it was tiring . Only about 15 or 20 minutes to change back but I would rather just be riding :riding:

Mine was used and came with the 23 or 25 ultra touring shield.
The buffeting was so bad my ears hurt in a full helmet with ear plugs.

I ended up with a 26 madstad. I really like the adjustability. Mark and Blair were great to work with.

There is a shield on ebay that is 2 piece where to top can be mounted up or down.

Others had good luck with the clip on visors.

I have the 14" touring for the summers where I don't need the full protection of the 25" ultra touring. The 14" leaves my head in the clean air where buffeting is less. I have buffeting with the larger screen, but it's a compromise in winter to stay warm.

Well... I bit the bullet and ordered the 14" Sport Touring... Here are all three installed. Due to an injury, I haven't had a chance to take it out for a spin yet. We'll see soon.
