• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windshields (I know it's been asked a million times but....)

Could you please tell me how the CHAD brackets are mounted to the console? I hope to go to town to get mine on Friday and I would like to ride the Spyda in to get it and install on the spot - but that does not look doable. Thanks in advance
The CHAD bracket mounts to the console with the original windshield screws. The CHAD mounts to the bracket with the included new screws and hardware. Be aware that the CHAD screws are not Torx like the Spyder, but hex head. You will need the proper hex wrench or socket and a 10 mm wrench to hold the backing nut.

Scotty,

My wife's CHAD should be arriving tomorrow. Did you have to replace any of the CHAD hardware? I remember reading something about replacing the plastic washers?

OK, thanks. Now I will remember NMN as the place to order the CHAD.

I tried to order one from Industries 7 back when the CHAD was just coming out. I got scared away (to protect my credit card) by some strange dealings by them or someone posing as them. I posted all about it back then.

Hey, trikester

By the time you even think twice about your credit card order with No Magic Neon, the UPS man would already be pulling up to your house and you'd have the package in your hands!

Absolutely nojoke

Thank you sir. That is good to know. Now I can go pick it up with the Spyda and install it and haul the stocker home in the FRUNK (front trunk).

It wasn't NMN that was flakey about the credit card order, it was Industries 7. Now that NMN is selling the CHAD, I've already ordered one from them. I posted (a while back) all the stuff about how Industries 7 didn't pass the "smell test" and I bailed out. Better to be safe than sorry. :lecturef_smilie:
