• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windshields for RS

I am wondering what would be a good windshield for my 2010 RS? I need something that looks stylish but is higher than the standard WS that comes with the roadster.

The favorites are the Madstad and CHAD, as you can adjust them. I will get a Madstad when I can budget more money for bike stuff. The CHAD is a bit funny looking for my taste and it lacks one total range of motion that the Madstad has...however, it is very popular although many complain about contacting the company.

Mark at Madstad is always available and is there to answer any questions...I have no problem getting his product as he stands behind it 100%...he's a quality guy with a really nice quality shield...

Factory one works for me but I have to admit the Chad from esi works well my girl has one on her Spyder ... I hate windshield and actually considered a Chad

i have one from corbin

The company that makes the CHAD is no longer in business.

I have a long torso and if you do too then even the ultra touring may not be tall enough for you. The problem is that anything taller than that tends to look funny. I was using an F1 Evo III and though it looked tall enough, the wind traveled directly up the windshield and once it hit the top, it was right in my face.

My solution was the Robo Brackets (madstad). I have found that it isn't the height so much as it is the presence of air flowing above and below the windshield. The robo brackets bring the windshield forward from the front of the Spyder so that air can flow underneath the shield as well as over top. This air underneath travels up the inside of the windshield and helps push the air traveling up the outside above your head.

I currently have mine no higher than the stock mounting position but there's a world of difference because air is traveling up both sides of the shield and it's escaping above my head rather than directly into it.

Go to www.madstad.com and watch his demo video, it should make everything crystal clear.

Good luck. :2thumbs:

i have the c baley and like it alot.i think its one of the talleset windshelds.this comp. makes aircraft shelds so it should do the job,ill never get off the ground but id like to.:D

We both have Corbin fairings. Expensive, but it cuts and separates the wind elliminating all buffeting. Very easy to drive in heavy winds.
