• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 900 I bought in November was sold with the Adventure windshield but I still don't have it. Dealer says there is a break in the supply chain due to Covid.

I will keep bugging them about it.

So I dont start a new thread, I was wondering from those who had the chance of trying both, what one do you advise ? I wont be doing hours long trips, does the Sport look better or is the style difference negligible ?

I've got another one of these looking for a new home. Maybe with a few mods 'n hacks ... I think it's got a look that will fit the rest of the bodywork.

I tried both. To me, the sport looks just too small for the bike. The adventure was better but still not great. I went back to my own homemade windshield and now I'm content.

I was going to get the adventure shield, but the dealer told me that he's had 3 people crack their screen because it's so big, and the mounting isn't the best. I just got the regular sport windshield for now and when I get my bike back from the shop I plan on testing it out.

For me with the Ryker its just the opposite. I'm one who has always appreciates a good windscreen, but on the Ryker, I think large windscreens look ridicules with the lines and lower profile of the machine, almost like a wind sail sticking up.

I can only write about the Adventure.

It is quite tall, all considering. I am 5'-10" and in the lowest position the top is above eye level.

It does block the wind well. I think I would like something shorter in the summer.

I tried the Adventure wind shield but it let too much air come under it. Sent it back and went with a fairing and wing shield. A lot better air flow.
