Windshield with the passenger in mind

I have been reading all of the threads I could find on windshields but have not been able to determine what works for the passenger. Is anyone who consistently rides an F3 with a passenger using an F4 Customs windshield? If so, which size shield do you have and does it give some wind protection for the passenger? I currently have a BR on the F3. It puts the wind over my head but buffets my wife's helmet pretty bad at interstate speeds. I am 5'8" and my beautiful wife is 5'10". Yes, for reference the stepped-up passenger seat essentially lets her look over my head on the F3!

I would go with the 30" and you will be able to see over or through. Remember our shields sheds rain and is optically perfect so many folks go for the taller shield to get better protection all the time however you will look through it all the time. Hope this helps.

Rather than replace the entire windshield, have you thought about trying one of these, an MRA X-creen:

Here it is fitted to my BR. This is the "Sports" model. They also make a "Touring" model
which is around twice the height. It has two sets of click stop hinges so you can significantly adjust the height (even at a traffic light!)
Both of these come with a clamp fixing (which I have used) and a bolt on mounting which of course is permanent.
Oh! Revzilla stock them in the 'States.

UPDATE

A big thanks to Don at F4 Customs. I installed the F4 Customs 32" windshield Saturday. We rode a couple of hundred miles yesterday and today. (The weather was great here in the deep south this weekend.) The windshield just puts the air-flow over my wife's helmet in the upper position. She says it "makes a big difference" at interstate speeds compared to the blue ridge that was previously on the F3. Hope this will help anyone that has similar needs for a passenger. :thumbup:

Info For Anyone Who Needs It

I now have the F4 Customs 32" windshield installed. Here are two photos of the shield showing the distance from the F3 key bezel to the top of the windshield with the windshield in the lower and upper positions. The shield height was what I struggled with in trying to decide which height to get. I hope this helps anyone wanting to know where the top of the shield will be in their field of view.

The tape measures in the reduced size photos are impossible to read.nojoke The measurement from the key bezel to the top of the shield in the lower position is 18.75" and in the raised position the measurement is 20.75".
