• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windshield R&R question - F3s

I had my BR shield installed by the dealer and I have been lucky enough to be able to remove it and install an F4.. When I removed the BR, I removed the two cap screws that attached the upper brackets ( the one that goes toward the instrument cluster from the side)

Do these two cap screws need to be replaced as they are not used with the F4 install. It doesn't seem like it goes into and holds the instrument cluster but want to make sure..

Just installed my F4 and discovered the same thing. Can't see any function there either. It's a good sturdy mounting point for some sort of Farkle, I think.

Love the F4...

F4 for the F3

We don't really see any purpose for these except to hold the BRP bracket in place.
Thanks for purchasing the F4 windshield for your F3.
Merry Christmas
