windshield mechanism

I noticed the windshield sliding mechanism is starting to get a little bit loose when in lowest position, not very much, but wondering if there is a way to get in there to look at what parts may be loosing up in there, maybe a bushing or screw. when in highest postion, (I usually don't use that setting unless im on the interstate at 65+ or in cold weather), its still just like brand new.

Do you have a shop manual for your bike? :dontknow:
There has been talk of a repair kit... Some bikes develope the nasty habit of dropping their windshield at speed. :shocked:
Perhaps you've got something going on in there, that is related to this issue?
