• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

anyone can give me the part numbers for replacing the bushings in on a 2015 RT windshield? can't seem to locate the part #'s. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have heard of the bushings but couldn't locate.
What does tighten things up nicely is a few wraps of teflon plumbing tape.

I can help you as I also have a 2015 RT and my windshield bushings developed play that caused it to rattle and make a "clicking" sound when I went over rough pavement. So here you go, this is what you will need :

Bushings - these are the black plastic bushings that press into the two top arms, come in sets of 2, you will need two sets for the two top arms, BRP part # 705 003 267

Windshield Bushing Repair Kit - comes with the screws and metal bushings for all three arms, BRP part # 219 800 355

I found that changing out the upper bushings and sleeves in my two top arms solved the problem. I did not bother replacing the sleeves and bushings in the lower arm. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the info.

Here is the story behind this. Had the bushing replaced back in Nov 2015. Rattle/Squeek came back in February 2016. Was finally able to get to get in to see the dealer in early June. They say they stay booked up and I am not leaving my bike sitting over there for six weeks waiting on them.

They looked at it and said they would have to contact BRP and see if they would replace it again. Never mind that BRP should have a one year warranty on their parts. Waited for two plus weeks calling and never getting an answer back. Finally demanded to speak to the service manager (who I have never seen or spoken with because he is never available and never returns phone calls). Service desk person said that according to the service manager BRP refused to replace them again because I had an aftermarket windshield (F4 windshield). :lecturef_smilie:

So I called BRP myself and low and behold there is no record whatsoever of a claim being made from this dealership in my behalf and that BRP had not refused to replace them. So I have now filed a complaint against the dealership. Not sure what good that is going to do and I am pretty sure I am never setting foot inside that dealership ever again. Now I will have to travel and hour and half to another dealership and begin the process all over again.

Thinking I am just going to do it myself and say screw the local dealer!
