Windows Through The Rain, A.K.A. Maggie Valley 2013

Last night, I packed up the Spyder, the GF packed up the car, ready to GO!!! :yes:

Alas, I'm at work this morning, not leaving until tonight.

Gonna spend the night at her sister's house in the Shenandoah-- figure it's not only an excuse to visit, it gets us out of the D.C. Metro-area traffic and crud. Leaving tomorrow for a nice relaxed ride down to Maggie Valley.

I'm just hoping the rain holds off. Last night was a DELUGE here. Tomorrow looks good for the ride down, but that doesn't make me all that happy, because Thursday is looking iffy. I don't care whether it rains on me riding down the highway to my destination, but I'd really love it if we could get clear skies for the two days of the Owner's Event. At least Friday's looking great so far...

Anyway, just ranting a little this morning, got ants in my pants, I want to get on the road! :thumbup: :doorag:

I believe that is the nature of the smokies. Just make sure you have good rain gear!nojoke

I'm heading out tomorrow AM; two stops in NC before I ride into Maggie Valley. I'll be at the Applecover Inn, look for the Lava bronze RT Ltd. (like I'll be the ONLY one there!)
