• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wind Deflectors

BumbleBee

RT-S PE#0174
Does anyone have the wind deflectors?
Are they worth buying or a waste of my money?
Thanks for your input and advice!

We have them on both Spyders

Incredible at blocking wind off your knees and lower body.

Create a "pocket" of non moving air which allows exhaust odors to sometimes stay in the area of the rider , even at high speed.

Currently removed, We will probably only use them when our weather gets cool (below 60 degress for a high temp)

Again, anybody that finds they work better (for them) sitting on a bench somewhere, I'd pay $50 plus shipping. I want the gas fumes :2thumbs:

I had to remove them because they directed too much heat to my upper legs making the ride very uncomfortable. I'll happily deal with the wind and sometimes rain as long as I don't have my legs cooking. I guess it would be ok in a colder climate but for So Cal it was a bit much IMHO.
